Tsuo-Yu Cheng

Tsuo-Yu Cheng, a professor of sociology at School of Social and Behavioral Sciences of Nanjing University, was born in Taoyuan in Taiwan. He got his doctorate degree from the Free University of Berlin in 2012, was a guest professor at Humboldt University of Berlin in 2018. He is also a habilitation candidate at Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena since 2020. His research interests include social theory, the Critical Theory, sociology of time, cultural sociology and sociology of media and communication.
