Research and teaching interests

I give lectures on Social Survey and Social Stratificationand Mobility for undergraduate students, Research Method for Social Sciences and social inequality in contemporary China for graduate students at Nanjing University.

My research is mainly concerned with social inequality/social stratification, especially social inequality in education, income, labor market, health and housing etc. in contemporary China. As the director of The Employment Quality Research Center of Nanjing University, I also conduct research on employment issues, and focus on issues of job/employment quality, the employment for disadvantaged people and social inequality in labor market, etc.. I have a great interest in interdisciplinary research on social inequality, and welcome Ph.D. Graduates with academic background of historical, political, human geography, environmental science, labor economy, etc., or who have the basis of metrology, to join my team and conduct postdoctoral research.
